The first quarter of 2021 has seen varying performances from the top 5 word puzzle games in the United States. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular applications.

Wordscapes, published by PeopleFun, Inc., exhibited a declining trend in both revenue and downloads through the quarter, with revenue dropping from around $1M in the last week of December 2020 to just over $800K by the end of March 2021. Downloads also decreased, starting at approximately 345K and falling to around 241K in the same period. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 2.8M mark.

Word Collect Word Puzzle Games by Super Lucky Games LLC showed a slight decrease in revenue over the quarter, maintaining about $250K weekly. The game experienced a sharper decline in downloads, from over 300K to under 150K, and weekly active users dipped from 1.7M to just over 1.4M.

Wordscapes Search, another title from PeopleFun, Inc., reported modest revenues, maintaining just under $8K weekly by the end of March. Word Crush - Fun Puzzle Game, published by YEW TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, had a revenue trend that slightly declined, staying near $200K in the early quarter and dropping to $143K by the end. Downloads decreased from 164K to 53K, and weekly active users saw a reduction from 604K to just over 500K.

Word Connect ¤ by ZenLife Games Pte. Ltd. showed an upward trend in revenue, from $113K to $157K, while downloads initially decreased from 109K to 52K, before jumping to 104K in the last week of March. The game's active users increased over the quarter from 320K to over 327K.
